This project is proudly presented in partnership with “Wanna Read?” led by Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan.
Mobile libraries filled with popular children’s books, fun literacy games and activity materials bring the magic of reading to patients in pediatric wards undergoing the challenges of medical treatment and hospitalization. Designed to be fully mobile, access is made easy for child patients who cannot get to the activity room.
Watching the children’s face light up with joy at the ‘one-on-one’ reading and playing literacy games is rewarding. The children forgot their pain and illness during these wonderful moments drifting into a world of stories.
